Parrott Construction have recently been awarded three very different Design and Build Contracts, which demonstrate the versatility of our team, subcontractors and suppliers.

At Home Farm, Cranfield we are constructing 12 Almshouses for the Almshouse Charity of James Goodman. The buildings, all constructed to a traditional ‘Almshouse’ design, comprise a courtyard of 12 single storey brick and block bungalows together with a central 2 storey office/meeting room.

From a very traditional project to a very modern one at Mill Road, Sharnbrook, we are building 13 houses to Passivhaus standards.  The houses will be super insulated, constructed for our client Hastoe Housing Association, a major leader in the development of Passivhaus developments, winning numerous awards for its low energy housing solutions. The housing is a mix of rental, shared ownership and open market sale and provides a combination of flats and two and three bedroomed houses.

On a former petrol filling station in High Street South, Rushden, Northants, we will be constructing 9 flats for general needs rental for our client Grand Union Housing Group.  The filling station was decommissioned many years ago and our building will be constructed on a piled foundation due to the ground conditions. Work will commence on this project this month.
