Medical Centre in Bedford officially open
The Medical Centre in Church Lane, Bedford was officially opened earlier this month after being developed and constructed by Parrott Construction.
The GP surgery was opened by the Mayor of Bedford, Dave Hodgson, and the event was attended by Sylvia Gillard, Goldington ward councillor.
The 3000 square foot modern facility forms part of an extensive local regeneration project, of which Parrott Construction are proud to have been the appointed contractor, on behalf of our client Coplan Estates.
The new centre has five impressive ground floor consulting rooms and a high specification treatment room.
Carol Stratton, Parrott Construction, said: “This facility is a great addition to our portfolio of local projects for local people.
“We pride ourselves on delivering civic projects for local authorities and local communities.
“This project demonstrates this further and we are proud of what we have achieved.” she added.
The additional building allows for patients to have the choice to see a Doctor or Nurse at either of their two sites, to suit their needs.
The new GP surgery comprises all ground floor consulting rooms, with the added benefit of plenty of free parking.
The design and build project commenced early May 2014, which was completed and handed over, on time and on budget, to Dr Fenske and Partners.
