A wonderful Christmas present for delighted local residents
Parrott Construction have handed over Phase 1 of their rural exception site to their client Grand Union Housing Group in time for Christmas.
On 17th December 2014 the site located at Biggleswade Road, Upper Caldecote, Bedfordshire, was officially handed over to the housing group which has now enabled four local families to move into a lovely new home before Christmas and the New Year.
Phase 1 consists of four properties; two bungalows and two houses, built to Code for Sustainable Homes Level 5, which demonstrates their compliance with this recognised national standard for excellence in terms of their sustainable design and construction.
This will result in lower running costs, improved comfort, health and well-being for the occupiers.
VE Parrott’s Managing Director, Chris Layram, said: “The project team, consisting of Parrott Construction, Grand Union Housing Group, David Coles Architects and rlf Employer’s Agents, had worked extremely hard to produce this rural exception site.
“We are all delighted that the families are now able to spend Christmas in their new homes. What a wonderful Christmas present!” He added.
VE Parrott wish the new families a happy time in their new homes, and a very Merry Christmas full of joy and happiness.
The remainder of the 10 dwellings will be handed over February 2015.
