St Leonard’s Court, Bedford
The first of two Bedford schemes for bpha has now been handed over.
This scheme consists of 5, three storey town houses and a three storey block of 12 flats with a contract value of £1,560,000.
This project was part of an ongoing partnership agreement with bpha.
Initially, the site was occupied by the ‘Old Vicarage’ which was demolished by ourselves nearly 12 months prior to starting on site.
The building is of timber frame construction with a mixture of brickwork, render and cladding and achieved Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3.
With the site situated on the A6 on the outskirts of Bedford, the scheduling of critical works including service connections, had to be carefully planned to prevent any disruption to the main road.
The scheme was handed over on time and on budget and is a credit to all involved.
