Please note that our offices will be closed from 1:00 PM on Friday, 20th December, and will reopen at 8:00 AM on Thursday, 2nd January 2025.

Contracts Manager Vacancy
Role Description
This is a full-time Contracts Manager role located in our offices in Kempston, with regular visits to sites. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing, developing, and implementing contracts for construction projects, overseeing budgets, ensuring compliance, and facilitating communication among clients, suppliers, contractors, site managers and other relevant parties.

Parrott Construction is a respected and experienced main building contractor based in Bedfordshire, with over 50 years of experience delivering high-quality new build and refurbishment construction projects. The company works on projects in both the public and private sectors, with project values ranging between £500,000 and £6 million. Specialising in diverse schemes, from education to sports and leisure, healthcare, commercial, industrial, residential, and public buildings, the majority of our projects are located within a 60-mile radius of our head office. Our extensive experience in the design and building of accommodation for housing associations has earned us the trust of our clients.
Qualifications, skills and experience
- Previous experience in a similar role within construction contracting, ideally within design and build
- Strong knowledge of construction contract management, legal requirements, and best practices
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively and harmoniously with cross-functional teams and contractors
- Good communication skills, verbal and written, with accurate grammar and language skills
- Knowledge of Health & Safety best practice and compliance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
