Dennis Road, Kempston Handover
Parrott Construction is delighted to announce the completion and handover of four new affordable two-bedroom homes in Kempston, delivered for our valued client bpha.

This milestone development has transformed a redundant garage site into high-quality housing as part of a wider programme redeveloping underused sites across the borough. The project not only provides much-needed homes but also improves the local area by removing a site previously vulnerable to anti-social behaviour.
Each property has been designed with modern living, sustainability, and long-term efficiency at its core. All four homes have achieved an EPC A rating — the highest possible — thanks to a range of low-carbon and energy-saving features:
• Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) providing efficient, low-carbon heating
• Excellent insulation and optimised thermal performance
• Individual EV charging points for every home
• On-site parking for all residents
• Contemporary design that complements the surrounding area
These energy-efficient properties will offer residents greater comfort, reduced running costs, and a significantly lower environmental impact — supporting bpha’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and community improvement.
The project went very well with no neighbour issues, the team were extremely professional and the homes are finished to a very high standard.” — Nicola, bpha
Project Handover: Stamford Road, Kettering

We’re proud to announce the successful completion and handover of the Stamford Road housing development in Kettering to our client, North Northamptonshire Council.
This project involved the demolition of a former Methodist church to make way for eight high-quality social housing dwellings, including a thoughtful mix of bungalows and family houses. The development helps address the growing demand for affordable housing in the area, contributing to a stronger and more inclusive local community.
From initial groundworks to final finishing touches, our team collaborated closely with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure the build met the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability. Each home has been designed with comfort and practicality in mind, delivering energy-efficient living spaces that support long-term wellbeing.
We’re delighted with the results and confident these new homes will serve residents for years to come — offering not just housing, but a sense of community and pride.

Handover – The Hedges, Woollam Crescent
We’re proud to announce the successful completion and handover of our latest project at The Hedges, Woollam Crescent, St Albans, delivered in partnership with St Albans City and District Council.

This development transforms a former brownfield site—previously occupied by temporary housing—into high-quality, sustainable homes for social rent.
Our contract covered the demolition of existing structures and the design and construction of 12 new homes, including:

– Six family-sized semi-detached houses, each with three bedrooms and private rear gardens.
– Six two-bedroom apartments, designed with accessibility in mind, where ground-floor flats feature wet rooms to assist with mobility needs and private outdoor space.
Residents will also benefit from a communal garden and dedicated parking, fostering a welcoming and practical living environment.
Built to the highest standards, these homes incorporate eco-friendly features to minimize environmental impact and reduce running costs. Solar PV panels and Air Source Heat Pumps ensure high energy efficiency, resulting in an impressive EPC rating of B.
At Parrott Construction, we’re committed to delivering sustainable, community-focused developments—and The Hedges is a shining example of that mission.

Eldon Avenue, Borehamwood – New Build Project
Our project at Eldon Avenue was successfully completed and handed over to our client Hertsmere Developments early January 2025.

The project involved the demolition of two blocks of unused lock-up garages and the remediation of the site prior to commencement. Specialist foundations had to be constructed due to the trees and the general nature of the ground conditions.
The site is very restrictive and parking is at a premium, however, we still managed to find room to accommodate nine car parking spaces, cycle parking, car charging and an enclosed bin area!
All of the apartments are equipped with balconies and are complemented with top-quality finishes throughout the development. The external facades feature a combination of facing brickwork, render, cladding panels and tall modern windows, which flood the apartment with natural light.
This £2.6 million design and build project, which has produced 11 high-quality apartments, is a testament to the quality that Parrott Construction is renowned for.
